Sharon McEnroe
Originally from South New Jersey, Sharon relocated to South Florida while working in Audit Services for Ford Motor Credit Corporation. Her career began with Ford after receiving her undergraduate degree from Methodist College in North Carolina where she met her husband Ed. After one year in South Florida she was approached by a local staffing firm to join their organization. Specializing in the recruitment of Finance and Accounting professionals, Sharon was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing shortly after her first year.
In this role she oversaw the marketing and business development for Palm Beach, Broward and Dade County. Recognizing the rapid changes taking place in the professional recruiting industry Sharon launched McEnroe Leatherwood & Associates in March of 2002 with business partner Dwayne Leatherwood. In addition to specializing in the areas of Finance and Accounting she expanded her recruiting efforts to service clients with staffing needs in the areas of Human Resources and Executive Administrative Professionals. Taking a pro-active approach to understanding the needs of clients and candidates to build long-term relationships has been the key to the success of McEnroe Leatherwood & Associates.
Understanding the responsibility and impact recruiters have on local industry and job-seekers is top priority. Sharon also takes an active role in her local community. A Board member for FuturePoint a non-profit youth organization dedicated to teen empowerment, a member of the Broward Roundtable a forum for local non-profit organization awareness, member of Broward County Junior Achievement, Downtown Fort Lauderdale Rotary member and former member of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale.
Active professional affiliations include Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Tower Club of Fort Lauderdale. In her spare time Sharon enjoys spending quality time with her husband Ed and daughter MacKenzie.

Dwayne C. Leatherwood
Originally from Richmond, VA, Dwayne attended Virginia Commonwealth University before moving to Central Florida in 1992 and joining the human resources department of a major national staffing firm. During the next 5 years he specialized in professional placements and was eventually promoted to several management positions, including Business Manager and Director of Business Development.
As Director of Business Development, he managed the regional marketing efforts of a sales team consisting of seven associates resulting in increased sales by 45%. The key to expanded business was in managing onsite clients such as Sprint Telecommunications, Disney World and Travelers Insurance. In 1997, Dwayne relocated to South Florida for the position of Division Director with an international staffing firm specializing in the areas of Finance and Accounting.
While his primary focus is recruiting and client development, he also applies his extensive experience in Human resources Management to develop long-term relationships with corporations throughout the South Florida region.
Professional affiliations include serving as task force member for the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County since 1997, as well as a Diplomat for the Tower Club of Fort Lauderdale. Also, Board member of Junior Achievement, helping to bring in Enterprise City for students of Broward County. A resident of Broward county, he has insight on local economic growth projections indicating the demand for quality, professional placements.
